Quarantine is a strict isolation imposed to prevent the spread of the disease.  It is suggested that this period lasts for 14 days regarding COVID-19 to see if symptoms develop.  Quarantining is a preventative measure taken to help stop the spread of the virus.  If no symptoms arise then it is typically safe to say you can come out of quarantine.
