How do I know which WoodGlo option is best for me?
If you are looking to remove dirt, dust, grime and residue then any WoodGlo option would work for your floor. Narrowing down an option depends on the amount of protection you want on your flooring. We have two levels when it comes to determining WoodGlo products. Level 1 is a basic professional standard clean. Level 2 provides a deeper cleaning with a glossier finish and long lasting protection for your hardwood.
Is professional hardwood floor cleaning expensive?

How long does it take to get the hardwood floors at my business professionally cleaned?
It is a very short process that lasts only a few hours depending on the square footage and layout of the room. The drying time is 24 hours to ensure that the floor has cured in its entirety.
Will a professional hardwood floor cleaning be disruptive to my business?
We always work around our client’s schedule. It is important that all services rendered are convenient for you. We are able to work after hours and also work in sections if we need to work while you are open. Our goal is to minimize any disruption to your establishment.
Will hardwood floors turn yellow?
No, our water based finishes are non yellowing.
Can I use household cleaning products on my hardwood floors?
It is never a good idea to use wax, oil soap or any other household cleaner on your hardwood floors because they can strip them of their shine. A great alternative for daily use is our WoodGlo neutral cleaner with a microfiber mop.
How often do I need to get my hardwood floors professionally cleaned?
If you use our level 1 WoodGlo option we suggest every 6-12 months. If you choose our level 2 WoodGlo option we suggest every 3-5 years depending on the traffic volume.
When will I be able to walk on my floors after a hardwood floor cleaning?
It is safe to walk on your floor 1-2 hours after a cleaning. However, we suggest at least 24 hours before high traffic is on it to make sure it is properly cured.
Will there be an odor?
Air circulation, heat and humidity are all contributing factors when it comes to there being any odor. The good news is that our water-based finishes have fewer fumes than oil based finishes producing less odor. As soon as everything dries, all smells go away.

What do I do if major amounts of water, flood related or not, has come into contact with my hardwood floor?
Before you go and rip up any flooring consult with a Floorite professional. Sometimes a deep cleaning is all that is needed to help restore your floor.
Do I need to do anything prior to the technician arriving for my scheduled service?
It is best that you remove any valuable and breakable items from the tops of all furniture. There should be no items on the floor such as trash cans, decor and area rugs. It is also good to sweep, dust and mop away all debris.
Do I have to move furniture?
Please move any furniture that is able to be moved prior to us coming. We can work around heavier items like bookshelves, filing cabinets and desks. If you have any concerns please contact your Floorite technician before your appointment.
Are there instructions to follow after my hardwood floors are cleaned?
It is best to wait at least 1-2 hours before walking on the floor. Do not allow moisture on the floor for 24 hours to ensure that the floor has properly cured. With felt moving pads, carefully move furniture and rugs back in place 24 hours after cleaning.
