Why should I get tile and grout professionally cleaned?

It is best to get tile and grout professionally cleaned because we can remove dirt that is embedded in the grout turning it dark, whereas regular mopping only removes surface dirt.

Is professional tile and grout cleaning expensive?

It is pennies to the dollar compared to having to replace tiles due to wear and tear because they were not maintained properly.

How long does it take to get the tile and grout at my business professionally cleaned?

There are several steps to this process.  For every 300 square foot area the average cleaning  time is 1 to 3 hours.  If you are having your grout sealed then that should take place 24 hours after the tile and grout has been cleaned.  Then allow 2-3 hours for the sealant to properly adhere to the grout.  These times can vary depending on floor and tile size, room layout and the amount of dirt.

 Will a professional tile and grout cleaning be disruptive to my business?

We always work around our client’s schedule.  It is important that all services rendered are convenient for you.  We are able to work after hours and also work in sections if we need to work while you are open.  Our goal is to minimize any disruption to your establishment.

Yes you can.   It is best to use a neutral cleaning solution that is best suited for tile and grout.

Depending on the condition of the tile and grout, the amount of soil and traffic will determine how often you should have your tile and grout cleaned.  We typically recommend a professional cleaning once a year.

When will I be able to walk on my floors after a tile and grout cleaning?

When tile and grout are first cleaned we recommend you wait 30 minutes before allowing traffic on it.  If you are getting your grout sealed then we  suggest no liquid on the floor for 24 hours until all sealants have had a proper amount of time to cure.

Will there be an odor?

Air circulation, heat and humidity are all contributing factors when it comes to there being any odor.  Once tile and grout are cleaned you might notice a slight scent that will dissipate once everything is dry. 

Do I need to do anything prior to the technician arriving for my scheduled service?

It is best that you remove any valuable and breakable items from the tops of all furniture.  There should be no items on the floor such as trash cans, decor and area rugs.  It is also good to sweep, dust and mop away all debris.
