    Job Description: Quality Control and Office Manager

    Position: Quality Control and Office Manager

    Job Overview:

    Floorite LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control and Office Manager to oversee our janitorial services at multiple school locations. The successful candidate will ensure the quality of work performed by both night and day staff, manage office tasks, and maintain supply inventory. This hybrid role allows for remote work, school visits, and occasional office presence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Quality Control:
    • Conduct walk-throughs at assigned school locations three days a week.
    • Ensure that both night and day staff are performing their duties correctly according to the work checklist.
    • Address any issues or discrepancies in the quality of janitorial services promptly.
    • Report findings and suggest improvements to senior management.
    1. Office Management:
    • Handle administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office records.
    • Use applications like Microsoft Word and Excel to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and reports.
    • Assist with the preparation and distribution of internal communications.
    1. Supply Inventory Management:
    • Maintain an accurate inventory of janitorial supplies.
    • Monitor usage rates and reorder supplies as needed.
    • Ensure all supplies are stored properly and safely.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
    1. Staff Supervision:
    • Oversee the performance of janitorial staff at various locations.
    • Provide training and support to staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
    • Address any staff-related issues and work to resolve them effectively.
    1. Relationship Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for school directors of operations and facility managers.
    • Foster positive working relationships with school personnel to ensure smooth operations.
    • Attend meetings with school management to discuss performance and address any concerns.
    1. Miscellaneous:
    • Stay updated with industry best practices and implement them where appropriate.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in janitorial services or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
    • Basic internet skills and familiarity with email communication.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for school visits.

    Working Conditions:

    • Hybrid role with remote work, school visits, and occasional office presence.
    • Flexible working hours with a requirement to visit schools three days a week.

    Quality Control Checklist for Manager

    Daily Tasks:

    The Cleaner is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
    • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Customer service experience
    • 1 year of similar work experience

    Responsibilities:

    • Clean and maintain buildings and facilities
    • Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
    • Notify the Manager about the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
    • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers
    • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures set by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
    • Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
    • Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, either manually or using hand trucks
    • Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
    • Wash and replace blinds
    • Gather and empty trash
    • Sweep walkways, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, or perform other incidental seasonal tasks
    • Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
    • Service, clean, and supply restrooms
